We eat here every few weeks! Their food is so good and their service is so friendly and very fast!!! I love their margaritas. It’s a hidden gem in Aurora. The owner is very friendly to patrons which is another reason we keep coming back!! Try their cocktail de camaroon, any of their combinations, their nachos, a quesadilla or a taco. You will not be disappointed. Their Mexican rice is very tasty as well!

Ordered through DoorDash. Don’t do it. The food is great. It’s very overpriced. Guacamole is $10 and when my order came, there was nothing but a tiny little cup of it - think the ketchup cups at Culver’s or whatever. When I called to ask what was up, I was told that I got ripped off from DoorDash. Which is tough because instead of saying, “we’re sorry, we’ll make sure you don’t get charged” or “next time you order, guacamole is on the house” they argued about who ripped me off. So $10 of their trouble just cost them hundreds in business. We grew up on this place. Things have changed.

I love the food and atmosphere, I've always had excellent service. My food has always come out hot and just as I ordered it

#1 Authentic Mexican food. I've been going here for over 18 years. They are so so authentic. Family owned. I wouldn't trade them for anything. They seen my kids grow and if they are surprised how much they have grown. :)very nice. Chips and salsa are to die for.. Enchiladas.. omg... Worth the trip now that family is an hour away.. Just try it.. Enjoy

We had an amazing in this restaurant. We loved the great environment and the meals. The waiters were very personal. I am happy we eventually decided to try this restaurant.

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that it was a tremendous evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly the reason for this fruitful celebration. The waiters contributed in a gorgeous manner, the cuisine was appetizing and my buddies were so overjoyed. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Always best food and service! Staff is very friendly & efficient. No matter what you choose, outstanding! Have been going there for 20+ years. We have never been disappointed. We live approx. 25 miles away. Well worth the drive.

Good food. I love it.

A return for my wife and I to the spot of our first date almost 28 years ago. My wife loves the tostadas and they did not disappoint. I had the beef enchiladas with rice and beans which were almost like a chili. Fantastic! Will have to go more often now, as our favorite Mexican restaurant has closed permanently. Glad La Cabana is still open and serving awesome food!! Thank you!

The salsa deserves a James Beard award. Among other reasons to go... staff is always friendly! Great service, fast. Frozen margaritas are also excellent. HUGE menu. My parents have been going since the seventies, a family favorite definitely!

It was deccenent food is good but the beef is okay. Also service is a bit slow.

Good food for the price

Our favorite for Mexican. We frequent this family owned restaurant every month or two as they always have the freshest tasting Mexican food. Their chips and salsa are great, very tasty and spicy. The servers are excellent, very attentive to our needs and the food arrives very quickly, even with large family groups. I always leave full and satisfied. The decor and setting on the Fox River is very comforting and scenic. I would recommend trying La Cabana to anyone wishing to spend some time in an atmosphere "South of the Border".

This is one of my families go to spots. If you are looking for authentic then you have chosen the right spot. Not only is the food authentic and delicious but the environment inside will have you feeling like you have went on vacation. The workers are polite and have never left us dissapointed.

Was pretty disappointed at La Cabana. I decided to stop and pick up some chips, guac and salsa for a gathering and it was $26!? I had to go back inside and ask what the prices were.. and the woman working was rather rude to me and spoke to me in a demeaning way as though I was a child. Being the general manager of a restaurant myself, I would expect someone in this industry to treat all customers with respect..While it was over priced, I was hoping the flavor would atleast be worth it but it was disappointing. The guac tasted like it was out of a squeeze tube with NO flavor. The salsa was fine and the chips tasted burnt.I’ve been to the La Cabana in Oswego and never had an experience like this but I will unfortunately not be giving my money to this one again.

I ordered 2 botanas and only got 1 order of flour tortillas which only come with 6(fine for the 1). I was not going to drive back for an order of tortillas. They knew what my order was and should have doubled checked. I only checked to make sure my chips and salsa were there. Tortillas are in between the botana containers so I assumed they are all there

I adore this place very much. there is a nice spirit. The cuisine is superb. the service is efficient and the crew is well trained. The cost is decent. extremely recommend.

We love this place. The food is exceptional, the drinks are outstanding, service is superior and the price is reasonable. Noteworthy; chips and salsa- the best we have ever found. Margarita- mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

This site is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. when I feel like having a fair lunch, this is the place that comes right away to my head. Great and food and a rich cuisine.great staff, and agreeable atmosphere. And very important, the price is good. I recommend this spot with great pleasure.
